Kevin and I spent about 2 weeks down in the lovely Buenos Aires. We taught a lot of privates, performed at cabarets and other various clubs, and taught at LHAIF. We had a great time. Here are some pictures from our adventure:
We love public Transportation!!!
At the beginning - we have finally made it down to Argentina. Look at the excitement on our faces!
While out at a nice dinner, Kevin proved to the table that he could stick two spoons to his face. What a guy!
This is Juani's shirt that Kevin is wearing. Kev loved this shirt so much that Juan said he could have it.
These are the team colors for the national Argentinian soccer team.
It was a beautiful summer day and Juan, Kevin and I decided to go for a walk. We had gone down to the pier at Costanera for a bite and then wandered around.
The colors on the crane were so bold against the blue sky. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it's close.
Kevin needs to climb on things and jump off of things, and move from one object to the other. He is a true climber at heart. There were a number of short posts that Kevin was able to jump on, and then there was a greater obstacle...the silver pole.
As the sun started to set, we walked across the Woman's Bridge. I have no idea why it's called this, but I love the architecture; the angles, shapes, lines, and quality of the wood on the bridge were picturesque.
The boys being silly. We were in Polermo having lunch and we saw this great wall. The boys were inspired to pose by the Bruce Lee face in the center.
At a parilla (pronounced par-ee-sha). They are grilling up a feast for us.
Henric and Joanna from Sweden. Jo is drinking like a champ! That's a whole glass of wine (actually it's coke, but it looked like wine)! They were also instructors at LHAIF.
Juan in the morning. Not only is he cross-eyed, but he has Anime hair. Hi-ya!
Me (and my tokidoki fanny pack) and Soledad. She is a tango dancer, but also does some swing. She is absolutely lovely, and quite the piece of work.
